The main language spoken here is Slovenian, but most people are also able to speak English pretty well!

The type of money used here is called the euro, and it is used by many other neighboring countries across Europe.
A bottle of water costs about one euro (around one U.S. dollar).
The best meal I had this week was some grilled chicken with štruklji, a kind of Slovenian dumpling consisting of pastry rolled with a cheese filling in the middle which is then boiled or grilled and served as a side dish... it's super yummy!
I haven't had a lot of time to listen to music this week, but I did listen to some country music because it always reminds me of back home and helps with homesickness a bit! What kinds of music do you all listen to?
I would say that going out into the field to help another researcher check trap cameras was the most fun I had. I don't always get to go into the field as often as I'd like with the part of my research I am currently working on, so I make sure to enjoy every moment that I do.
