What type of money is used here?:

We use Argentine Pesos. The official conversion rate is around 800 pesos to $1 but the blue (unofficial) rate is around 1000-1300 pesos for $1.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

I was able to get a 1.5 liter bottle of water for 1,400 pesos which is about $1.63.

What was the best meal this week?:

Milanesa de pollo con fideos (Chicken milanesa with Noodles)

What music did I listen to this week?:

There's always latin pop playing on the bus ride to school. I also love to play my favorite artists from home like Hulvey or Cece Winans!

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I had a blast visiting Villa General Belgrano, a small German inspired town in Argentina, with a friend! I went hiking on a mountain trail called Cerro de la Virgen (Hill of the Virgin). 

What did I read this week?:

All I had time to read was my history textbook...

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I didn't play any games or sports this week, but when my host mom's grandson visits, we love to play a domino game called Rummy Burako.
