Trier is about 110 miles from Landau, so the trip there and back was probably about 220 miles.
I had traveled about 4600 miles total since I left home. This extra bit brought me up to about 4820 miles.
Mätthi and I drove to Trier in his car. We then took a train halfway home before picking up his car from his brother Johannes.
Our train rolled through a city called Idar-Oberstein, where you can see a church that was built into the side of a cliff. I thought that was amazing.
I am planning a trip to see my sister over Thanksgiving. I hope to have some more exciting photos for you soon!
