As the cherry blossoms, or 'beotkkot' (벗꽃), reach their blooming peak, I can't help but feel it offers a beautiful metaphor for our wonderful time together this semester. In Korean culture, these blossoms symbolize the fleeting nature of life and beauty, reminding us to cherish every moment. Today, as I write this farewell to a group of incredibly bright students, I'm reminded of the transitory yet impactful nature of our interactions, much like the cherry blossoms that bloom so vividly yet briefly each year.
