Traveler Bio

Hola! My name is Alondra Cobian. I am 22 years old. I grew up in Southern California, and I have lived there my entire life. I am Mexican-American, and I grew up being bilingual in English and Spanish, which is something I love because now I can understand more cultures and people. Being Mexican-American also taught me how to appreciate nature because I learned about how my parents grew food from the land they lived on. Since I have always loved animals, the outdoors, and fun adventures, I decided to major in environmental science in college. Now I will continue learning about our environment as I travel through Mexico! I am excited to learn more about Mexico’s food, culture, and nature by living in a totally new place called Atlacomulco! I am excited to get to know Mexico because even though my parents are from there, I have never lived there and I think living in a different country is a fun way to learn! I am so excited to get to share my experiences trying new foods, interacting with local communities, and traveling around Mexico with you!
