Every week day I travel almost 20 miles to my classes and lab and then 20 miles home. Each week I am traveling 200 miles just for classes. Where was a fun place you went this week?
Sydney is almost 10,000 miles from home, so I have traveled quite far. Besides being so far from home I also have traveled to Melbourne which is 550 miles from Sydney, which takes 1.5 hours to fly to and from. My flight to Melbourne seemed so fast compared to flight from home, which was almost 30 hours. Stay tuned for stories from my adventure to Melbourne!
I commute to class by train, and it takes about 45 minutes to reach Westmead which is a small suburb of Sydney. You know the town Webster? This is where you do a lot of shopping to places like Target. Webster is a suburb of Rochester just like Westmead is a suburb of Sydney.
The most interesting place I vistited this week was the Sydney Opera House. (You might remember this from the movie "Finding Nemo.") In the movie, Dory is always saying, "We have to go to '42 Wallaby Way, Sydney'". I'm in Sydney, so I'll let you know if I can find 42 Wallaby Way!
