When choosing where to spend my four and a half months living and studying away from the United States, it was important to me that I found a city that offered a wide range of opportunities. Upon doing research, Valencia seemed to be the perfect match for me, from the host university to the city itself and everywhere between. Valencia is the third-largest city in Spain, so due to its size and development, the displays of architecture in contrast to the modernization throughout the different provinces is incredible.
Valencia is home to paella, Las Fallas, and the City of Arts and Sciences--all of which we will be exploring and learning about together, in addition to so much more! Chao for now!
