Through the last few months I have had the opportunity to share my experience with Peace Corps, and in Paraguay with you all. It has be wonderful having the opportunity to share about the culture of Paraguay, that is often times over looked- as well as the reality, and ups and downs of Peace Corps service. I hope through this experience some of you have been inspired to travel, work abroad, or maybe even join the Peace Corps!
As I am writing my farewell journal to you all, I will be in Paraguay for at least the next 7 1/2 months. I am actually applying to extend my service, for another 3-6 months. If accepted I would be working in the capital city with NGO's! I could not have imagined two years ago, graduating college and extremely anxious to join the Peace Corps, that I would be begging to stay! This is just a testament to the wonerful people here, and the excitement that traveling brings. I hope you all keep learning about the world and saying yes to new and different experiences!
