In school we speak Spanish. To say hello in Spanish we say, "hola." In our school, students learn many languages. For example, we study Spanish, English and French. So the majority of the time, people are speaking in Spanish, but sometimes students practice other languages.
Some common names in our schools are Pedro, Hugo, Alejandro, Mario, and Borja. For girls, some common names are Maria, Marta, Carmen, and Noelia.
We study the Spanish language, other languages (like English or French), math, history, science, and geography. We also have classes like music, technology, physical education, and art. Sometimes these classes can be bilingual (half taught in English and half in Spanish).
Student 1: "My favorite class is lengua (Spanish language)."
Student 2: "My favorite class is math, but it is very difficult!"
Student 1: "My homework is not that bad. Most of the time it is only a couple of exercises. I have to study a lot, though, because we have many exams and they are all at the same time."
Student 2: "I have a lot of math homework, but I like it. I also spend a lot of time studying because the exams here are very hard."
