2. Hace buen/mal tiempo : Great/Bad weather today
3. Toca el fondo : To hit rock bottom (when nothing is going right)
The euro is still the currency that is used here, but I just CANNOT get over how inexpensive things are, Especially when it comes to vegetables. The other day I got five bananas and six apples for two euros. It makes eating healthy super easy on a budget!
A bottle of water is about fifty cents, but Asturias is a very "green" place and a lot of people use environmentally friendly waterbottles. In general, most people do not buy waterbottles.
The best meal I had this week was homemade soup! For dinner I had vegetable soup and added some quinoa to it. Have you ever had quinoa before? It is really good for you! Then I cooked some chicken and spinach to add to the soup! It was so yummy! I usually do not eat out much here.
