It is really admirable, and I have enjoyed learning about these and many more traditions here in Spain.
These traditions are not directly connected to the environment, but I can think of smaller, possible connections. In Asturias, people love to be outside and chat with those around them. I think that being outside makes me feel more happy and positive. Most of these holidays hold parades and celebrations outside in the streets and people are very affectionate with each other, enjoying themselves. There is nothing like some fresh air and beautiful views to put a smile on your face and a pep in your step.
