Hi! My name is Anna. I was raised in Washington, D.C. and studied international relations at Stanford University in California. After graduating, I moved to Los Angeles, California and worked for a small non-profit organization that focused on issues related to free press, the media and public diplomacy.
I was fortunate to receive a Fulbright grant this year to travel to Estonia to continue my work on democracy and technology. Today, I work in a very small city called Tartu at the Johan Skytte Institute for Political Studies, and I research the laws and policies surrounding the country's e-government, or the use by agencies of information technologies (such as the Internet and mobile phones) to provide better services to its citizens and businesses. Cool, right?
When I am not working, I love photography, scuba diving and drinking coffee. I can't wait to share my adventures with you!
