In Italy, I have tried many tasty foods! The pizza, pasta and gelato (another word for ice cream) here are very special and different from what I eat at home. People in Italy make their food with fresh ingredients and lots of love. (Ingredients are foods you mix together to make something.) Everything looks, smells and tastes so yummy!
I have tried many different foods here! I got to try a lot of Italian pizza, pasta and gelato. All of it is delicious! The way pizza is made here is very different from the way it is made back home. Italians don't put a lot of cheese on their pizzas or cut them into slices for you. Here, you eat pizza with a fork and knife!
In Italy, I have even tried foods that are not Italian, such as Sri Lankan food! Sri Lanka is a small country just south of India. I got to try some tasty fried noodles with chicken!
I thought everything was really good! But I like the pizza back home a little more because I like to eat it with my hands. Eating pizza with a knife and fork feels fancy to me.
Everything else I have tried here has been super yummy, too! I like the gelato here a lot more than the ice cream back home. My favorite flavor here is salted caramel!
