What music did I listen to this week?:

This week I listened to a lot of Reggaeton. This is funny to me because, Reggaeton is an upbeat medium-paced genre of music that comes from Puerto Rico, where I'm from. In Spain, it is currently really popular. 

What activity was the most fun this week?:

The most fun activity this week meeting students my age from all over the world. I met people from Norway, Italy, Germany, England, Ireland, Zimbabwe, Cuba and the Dominican Republic. We went to eat dinner and exchange stories about our experiences living in our hometowns.  

What did I read this week?:

This week I began reading "The Sun Also Rises" by Ernest Hemingway, my favorite fiction book from the 1920s. This book was written by this famous U.S. author while he was living in Madrid. Actually, I have been lucky to visit his favorite restaurants and the places where he sat down to write this book in Madrid. 

Other news from this week:

I had my University orientation day on Monday the 22nd of January. It was an event for international students like me who are studying abroad in Madrid. They gave us free Spanish snacks (called Tapas) and told us about the school.
