I traveled around the city of Madrid and an hour and a half away from the city center on a train.
So far I have traveled 4,500 miles from Miami to arrive in Madrid this week. With all the walking I have done around the city, I am confident that I have walked 50 miles.
In Madrid, like in many large cities, there are trains that people use every day to get around. People use the train to get to work, to eat, to shop and to go home. It is very common to use these trains in Madrid because they travel throughout the entire city. In Madrid, this system of trains is called "El Metro" (The Metro).
The most interesting place I visited this week was "Museo Nacional del Prado" (Prado Museum). This is the most famous museum in Spain. There are very important paintings and artworks in the museum. I fell in love with the paintings that are displayed. For anyone who loves to paint and draw, this place is perfect to find inspiration. As much as I wished I could, we were not allowed to take pictures.
