It was hard at first because I do this a lot at home. I love talking and meeting people, so that was kind of a hard adjustment.
I have also found that in England, many of the buildings are a lot older and may not have some of the same facilities as the buildings in America. For example, in my apartment building, there is no elevator. I live on the third floor, so I have to walk up and down the stairs everyday to get to my flat. There is also no central heating or air conditioning. On hot days, we have several fans placed throughout the flat, and on cooler days there is a radiator in every room. Luckily, the weather has been very nice so far.
One of my favorite parts about London is, of course, the performing arts culture. There are so many plays and musicals to see! There is defiently something for everyone, and I am learning so much! I am very happy for the opportunity to study abroad, and I can't wait to find out what other adventures are in store for the rest of my time here :)
