My trip to Milan for the Olympics was a beautiful example of collaboration and peace between countries around the world. Even though I was rooting for the U.S. team at the women’s hockey game I attended, I was so happy to talk with the Czech fans sitting near me about their lives and about hockey. I also got to cheer for all of the countries as they entered the opening ceremony. It felt like a perfect example of how the world can come together for something fun.
I’m so grateful that I’ve gotten to spend this time in Italy, and even more grateful that I’ve beel able to share it with you all. I’ve learned so much about the world, and I hope you have too! As the school year continues, I hope you’ll keep thinking about and sharing the ideas you’ve learned during our time together. Arrivederci!
