The weather here is pretty consistently high 70s or 80s Fahrenheit, and is usually quite pleasant. It does get cool in the evenings, so I have to remember to bring a sweatshirt on days when I have late classes.
I stayed in the city this week, so didn't see too much wildlife. I did see my host family's dog, named Nacho! He is adorable and very sweet. I'm still keeping an eye out for the campus sloth family--some of the other international students spotted them this week!
There are some really beautiful flowers on campus. There are also massive sections of bamboo in some areas. It's amazing to be immersed in so much nature as I walk from class to class!
