Current Location

Breves, Brazil

Join me to study the effects of a Bank on a Boat visiting Amazonian communities living on the largest island river delta in the world, the Island of Marajo (Ilha do Marajo) in Pará, Brazil. Let's go!

Logbooks

Every day for breakfast and an afternoon snack, people have coffee and bread! In order to walk to the grocery store, I have to walk between 11 to 12 blocks. I took pictures along the way!

Journals

It was so nice to meet you and share this journey with you all! I hope that you all follow your own dreams.

Field Notes

It is estimated that 450,000 water buffalo live on Marajó Island, making it one of the largest populations of buffalo in the world!

Albums

Families live near these pools of water. This community river allows people to come to swim, cook and eat lunch, wash their hair and clothes, and even their dogs.
