Hello from Estonia! My name is Bella and I was born and raised in Morrisville, North Carolina, not too far from Salem Elementary. When I was in first grade, Ms. Waltzer was my teacher! First, let me tell you a but about myself.

At home, I live with my mom, my twin sister, and my younger sister. Although my favorite family member is my dog Theo! My sisters both attend UNC Chapel Hill. My twin sister is the treasurer of Delta Sigma Theta and my younger sister is on the cheer team.

I go to college at Grinnell College in Iowa, where I study the economic, political, and social relationship between countries, also known as International Affairs. I am especially interested in countries that were a part of the Soviet Union but are now independent. Because of this, I decided to study Russian! Russian is a hard language because they use a different alphabet and have grammar concepts that we do not have in English. Regardless, learning a foreign language has helped me become better at problem solving, memorizing things, and talking to new people!

At Grinnell, I represent my class as a student senator and play on the softball team. We play games around the midwest including Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
