We had a week off from university, so my roommates and I traveled to Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland. Edinburgh is about an hour's flight from London.
Scotland has been the farthest I have traveled so far.
I mostly get around by walking, as everything in Leicester is quite nearby. For example, it takes me five minutes to get from where I live to campus. When I'm exploring a new place away from Leicester, I get around using Uber, buses or planes. The transportation here is relatively efficient and inexpensive.
The most interesting place I visited this week was Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. It is in the old part of the city of Edinburgh and is a tourist attraction. The kings and queens of Scotland once lived there!
