You get to pick what kind of meat you want and then grill it yourself at your table. The meat is so good! And you are given many sauces and side dishes to go with it.
One of the things that really got me hooked on Korean culture was their pop music! I really love listening to Kpop so I'm really happy here where I get to see a lot of live music! Right now, I'm listening to two of my favorite groups, Stray Kids and Mamamoo.
The best part of living in Seoul is trying all of the wonderful food! One of the things I don't have in Illinois is all this great street food. In the winter, especially, it's nice to go to a popular shopping area and try all the nice hot street food they have. It's tasty and warms you right up!
This week I'm working on reading some Korean children's stories to help me practice my Korean. I may be at a university level in English, but I'm like a little kid in Korean! So easy children's books are my level!
I don't really play sports much normally, and right now, its pretty cold out; so a little hiking is the only thing I've done this week. Hiking and staying active is a very big part of Korean culture, and there certainly are many places to hike in Korea with all the mountains and hills. Even in the cold, there are always people out hiking, especially in the morning.
