"There are two things you should always carry with you in Brussels: a pair of sunglasses and an umbrella," was what a colleague at my office told me. Brussels weather is very capricious. It could be bright and sunny one second and ugly and pouring literally the next second. In almost three weeks, I've witnessed this firsthand a number of days now.
Both Brussels and Paris are very urban areas, so there aren't a lot of animals to see other than your usual dogs and birds. I saw a couple of butterflies while biking in Libourne near the small town of Saint-Émilion!
Grapes galore! My friend loved all the grapes that we saw in the vineyards and kept taking pictures during our recent weekend trip away to France. They looked great and tasted even better - ready for harvest season indeed! You know that you're in Bordeaux, France when there are grapevines even at the airport.
