L'Atelier des Lumières is a surround theater experience that incorporates graphic design and music with artwork. After a day of seeing the classic works at the Louvre, D'Orsay, and Orangerie, I liked seeing some of those same works through this sensory and more interactive live experience.
While en route to Paris, I ended up chatting with the person sitting next to me on the train. She is also an expat living in Brussels, and we ended up talking about our past travels and what brought us to Brussels. As the train approached the Paris train station, we exchanged numbers and made plans to meet again in Brussels. I guess that you never know where you might make a new friend abroad!
