Stockholm's weather is a hybrid. Given the time of year, it's almost always cloudy and overcast; it makes you keep thinking that it could rain any minute. However, as I was lucky to witness, the sun does come out every once in awhile although it's generally once a day for a certain stretch of time. The sun sets very early around 5:30 PM, which makes 7:00 PM feel more like10:00 PM!
While driving to and from the more urban area of Stockholm to the more industrial city of Västerås, I saw Swedish farmlands with horses. However, other than usual birds in urban cities, I didn't really see many animals this week.
Having lived in California sometime and being away from the Northeast for even longer, I hadn't really seen fall foliage in a long time. I took so many pictures constantly because it was just so beautiful in Stockholm during this time of year, especially when the sun came out!
