This week I travelled to the Terracotta Warriors, the Muslim Quarter, the Tomb of Yangguifei, Huashan Mountain, and the Xi'an City Wall.
As of this point in my journey, I have travelled to Chengdu, Beijing, Xi'an, Siguniangshan, Liujiang, and Huashan.
I did my entire tour of Xi'an on a tour bus, but we did walk around quite a bit around the city center.
The most interesting place I visited was the Muslim Quarter. Not only was it interesting to see such a large population of Muslims in a dominantly atheist country, but I was also fascintated to see the physical features of this other group of people. They looked very different from the majority of people in China, who are Han, and they wore avery traditional and beautiful attire. It was also interesting to see an ancient mosque in the middle of the Chinese city.
