I went to a small concert on Sunday where a few music groups from my school performed. It was free to get in, and the music was really good, so it was a lot of fun!
I didn't end up reading too much this week. For one of my Japanese classes, I needed to read a chapter on human psychology and how people prefer to be part of a group. It was pretty difficult because there was some vocabulary I wasn't really familiar with, but it was a good opportunity for studying.
A volunteer group at my school that I'm a part of had a social event for new members, where we played a party game that's similar to Monopoly. The game is set in Japan, and requires you to travel across different parts of country and collect property. It was very fast-paced and featured many pop culture elements from Japanese culture, so it ended up being a lot of fun, even though my team got last place.
Later this week marks the start of Golden Week, a series of consecutive holidays in Japan where a lot of schools give students time off and people usually travel across the country. I haven't been outside Tokyo yet, so my friends and I have been trying to plan a trip so we can get out and see different parts of Japan.
