Moi (Hello)! My name is Brittany Perry and I'm from sunny Florida, where we do have lots of aligators and fun theme parks! I have had many amazing jobs, including teacher, actor, scientist and baker. After getting my Masters degree in biomedical sciences and working in an emergency room, I am now on a Fulbright grant learning about maternal-infant health in Finland, one of the coldest and most beautiful countries in the world! Because I am interested in someday becoming a pediatrician (doctor for chlidren), understanding how Finland keeps their babies healthy is important to me and may help doctors in the United States save babies someday, too!
Some fun facts about me: I have worked with super cool robots, grown special cancer cells, and can even make homemade Dippin' Dots as a scientist. I have fed a giraffe, taken a selfie with a cheetah and swam with dolphins. I was homeschooled for several years, have all brothers (no sisters!) and love learning about new countries, whether I'm snowshoeing through the Arctic or curled up with a good book on a couch. I can't wait to share all of my adventures with you!
