I care a lot about humanitarian issues, especially those related to the U.S. and the Middle East. I believe that understanding different cultures helps us connect and create positive change. My dream is to start a media non-profit that focuses on these topics, using creative ways to share important stories. Right now, I’m studying in Amman, Jordan, through the CET program, thanks to a Gilman Scholarship from the U.S. State Department. This experience has been amazing! Being in Jordan has helped me learn about the culture and meet new people.
Traveling abroad for the first time was both exciting and a bit scary. I remember feeling nervous but also really curious as I stepped off the plane. The sights, sounds, and delicious food of Amman have been incredible! Every day brings new adventures, from exploring busy markets to trying traditional Jordanian dishes.
As I continue my journey, I want to create stories that highlight humanitarian issues and help people understand each other better. I believe that media can change how we see the world, and I’m excited to share my experiences with you!
