Our News

What music did I listen to this week?:

A little bit of everything. I'm not picky when it comes to music.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

Putting my hammock up in the shade at the beach was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The seabreeze helped mitigate the stifling heat.

What did I read this week?:

I'm reading a book about randomness and how easy it is to be fooled by random chance. In a nutshell, the book discusses our tendency to associate outcomes with concrete actions, when in reality, they are best attributed to chance. If that sounds interesting to you, statistics will be your thing!

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I didn't play any sports this past week, but I watched a lot of soccer. The various neighborhoods (or barrios) of Tronadora are practicing for an upcoming tournament, where the champions of the town will be decided. Every night, crowds gather around the central plaza to try and see which neighborhood will win when the tournament rolls around.

Other news from this week:

An eclipse is approaching! Unfortunately, Costa Rica is not in the path, so we won't have the chance to enjoy it down here...
