The furthest I travelled this week was from the 13eme arrondissement to the 19eme arrondissement. This requires taking two separate metro lines to cross to the other side of Paris, and the journey is around 1 hour.
Beyond Paris, the furthest I have traveled is to London. I went there over a long weekend in October to visit the family I had lived with this past summer. I took the EuroStar to get to London, and the journey from Paris only takes 2 hours. The train goes through a tunnel under the ocean!
I took the Metro Line 7 most frequently this week, but I also took the tram and the RER (Regional Express Network).
The most interesting place I visited this week was Les Amarres. This is a 3rd place, a spot where people can work, learn, enjoy a cup of coffee and learn about important issues affecting people across Paris.
