The weather this week was mostly sunny. Also, very hot and humid! We are still in the "dry" season here in Panama but it is starting to get humid because the "rainy" season starts in April and May.
This week, I did not see any animals in Panama City except for people walking their dogs. However, last week I took a quick trip to Panama's neighbor, Costa Rica, and saw lots of beautiful wildlife like the white-faced (Capuchin) monkey, iguanas and my favorite--a sloth! Can you spot the sloth up in the tree? In Panama, we have many of the same animals. My friends from Panama tell me that sometimes traffic stops for 30 minutes when a sloth crosses the street!
Aside from the animal sightings in Costa Rica, I saw some beautiful landscapes at the Manuel Antonio National Park. This national park is an incredible mix of beaches and jungles. Check out my photo!
