Interviewing Andrew!

Introduction:

For this interview, I decided to go to a local park and interview a kid that is 12 years old with the permission of his parents. The kid's name is Andrea, and his first language is Italian, but due to being able to learn English very young in elementary school, Andrea is now conversational in English. This made our interaction smooth, as we alternated between Italian and English during the interview to ensure clarity and comfort for Andrea.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

“For breakfast, I am too young to drink coffee but oftentimes I like to eat a croissant with a cup of milk. For lunch and dinner, my mom alters between risotto, pastas, or fast food like McDonalds or KFC. It usually depends how much time we have.”

What is your house like?:

“I share my house with my parents and two younger sisters. Our house is big and I get to have my own room and bathroom. I think it is because I am the oldest. But sometimes I like to go over to my parents and sleep with them when I get scared.”
