It feels like the city is focused more on luxury than on helping everyone find a place to live. This need is also made worse by how quickly the city is growing, leaving little time to balance new development with the needs of the community. As a result, low-income families, students and even workers in the city struggle to find housing that fits their budgets.

Is this need being met? How?:

I’ve seen some efforts to fix this, such as renovating older buildings and building more affordable housing. But honestly, it doesn’t seem like these initiatives are enough. So many people are still struggling to find a place they can afford, and it feels like there’s a lot more that needs to be done. It’s clear that while some progress is being made, the city needs to act faster and prioritize affordable housing for everyone. If more people and organizations worked together, I think the problem could be solved in a more impactful way.
