Ciao! Hello! My name is Charles Poole III, but you can just call me Charles. I am 20 years old and come from Muskegon, Michigan. Muskegon is located right off of Lake Michigan, which means summers here are the greatest! I currently am a junior at Western Michigan University, double majoring in advertising and promotion and leadership business and strategy.
For the next semester, I will be studying abroad in Paderno del Grappa, Italy. Paderno del Grappa is a small town in the province of Treviso in the Veneto region of Italy, and it is only about 45 minutes north of Venice. This location is known for cafe/pastry shops, pizzerias, and a must-see gelato shop that I will be sure to investigate. I applied for and received the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which has helped me make this study abroad opportunity possible.
