Journal Entry:

I know we haven't gotten to interact for that long in the grand scheme of things, but as I am constantly learning that even short interactions can make lasting impacts. I hope you've gotten something out of this, even if it is just knowing that someone in Ireland is thinking of you and sincerely wishing you the best!

Sometimes I feel as though I'm in a maze, constantly taking wrong turns and never reaching the end. Sometimes I can't even follow my own thoughts, as I'm sure you've gathered from my entries you've read. Believe it or not, writing for you has helped me collect my thoughts and reflect on what this experience has meant for me in new ways. (As a side note, I highly recommend journaling!)

I have come to believe that I am not in fact in a maze, but in a labyrinth. While there may be twists and turns, there are no wrong turns. All paths ultimately lead to the center. I may not always live in my center, but I am always trying to travel towards it. To make things seemingly more confusing, I am constantly changing and growing through my experiences in the world and with people who are different (yet truly the same) as me, so my "center" keeps changing. I find myself walking the labyrinth again and again with new eyes and new realizations.
