Bom Dia!(Good day!) My name is Chelsea, and I am a United States Peace Corps volunteer in a rural hospital in Mozambique. I grew up in Biloxi, a city located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. My favorite hobbies include reading sci-fi novels, dance classes and DIY projects. I chose to leave my country landscape to explore different waters and report what I saw in the Peace Corps as a Community Health Promoter.
Mozambique is located on the coast of southern Africa where Portuguese, the official language, is spoken along with an additional 43 languages. My days are typically spent strengthening health treatment programs, exploring the mountains and river behind my house, or learning fun games with the neighborhood children.
