Koreans speak the Korean language and write using the Korean alphabet, called Hangeul (한글).
The South Korean won is South Korea's official currency.
A bottle of water can range from 500 to 2,000 won. The cheapest ones are usually bought from convenience stores and vending machines.
Koreans love KFC. That is, Korean Fried Chicken! Beyond regular fried chicken, Koreans cook fried chicken with a variety of flavors and sauces to suit any palate. The popular way to eat chicken is to drink it with beer, a combination Koreans refer to as Chimaek (치맥). Chi (치) referring to chicken, and maek from the Korean word for beer, maekju (맥주). Some of my favorite flavors are yangnyeom (양념) chicken, sweet and spicy garlicky sauce, soy garlic, honey glazed, chicken dipped in cheese powder and green onion. Remeber I told you that Koreans have that "Hurry Hurry! (Ppalli Ppalli 빨리 빨리) culture?" Well, this extends to the food delivery system which boasts one of the best logistical systems in the world. They will deliver almost anywhere.
