Although it was pretty cold, I really enjoyed camping this week with my friends. Despite the harsh weather conditions, I had fun sharing a small space with the four of us. We did not have WiFi or phone service, so we tried to make the best of each other's company by telling stories and talking about some of our most embarrassing moments.
Unfortunately, I did not read anything this week. I need to find some time to read. I've been busy planning lessons for my classes.
This week, while camping, my friends and I played UNO. I did not know that they knew of the game, but to my surprise, they were all pretty good at it. I wanted to bring something with me that we could have fun with while in the mountains!
This week I got to see how the Argentine people celebrate Easter. I do not celebrate the holiday, but I got to see that people here take time to cook meals for their families and attend misa (mass) at their local Catholic churches. In a way, it reminded me of how we celebrate Thanksgiving in the United States.
