It's the rainy season in Indonesia, so each day would start with a bright and sunny sky before turning cloudy in the afternoon. There would be a huge downpour for about an hour to an hour and a half, and then the rain stopped and the sky turned into night.
While there aren't any big animals like orangutans on Java, I still saw squirrels, birds and lots of farm animals!
There are geckos that live all over the place--almost like mice in a house in the U.S. However, we like the geckos, as they only eat the bugs and none of your food!
