We're finally getting into the end of the rainy season, so we had a sunny day! It didn't rain the whole time. Unfortunately, this was a work day for me, and I didn't get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. It was pretty sunny this weekend, so we went to the beach, but there was still a little afternoon shower while we were there. We had to stand underneath the tent of a surf-board rental shop while we waited for it to stop. It took about 15 minutes for the storm to pass.
I've seen a ton of animals! Little creatures are all over our house. Ants of all sizes, spiders (including one with a strange yellow cap), and lots of lizards and frogs. We went on a waterfall hike this week and finally saw a few monkeys on the trail, as well as a few coatis (little raccoon-looking animals). And we've seen scarlet macaws, as well as toucans.
