Traveler Bio

Hi everyone! My name is Dalton, and I'm excited to share some of my travels with you. I recently graduated from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota with a degree in English literature, and I'm currently working as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Greece.

Before heading off to college, I grew up in West Virginia, which I still call home even after having lived in many places since then. Growing up, I loved reading (which is why I continued studying English in college), and I especially loved learning about new places and cultures. I've always been fascinated by the histories of different places, which is one reason I'm so excited to be living in Athens this year. The city is full of history: from the first Olympic stadium to ancient temples to the Greek gods and goddesses, there is so much of the past woven into the landscape.

As I travel around Athens and Greece as a whole, I hope that you will join me in appreciating the rich cultural legacy ancient Greece has left behind, in addition to the wonderful, vibrant place modern Greece is! Let's explore together.
