Our News

This week, we played fútbol y basquet (soccer and basketball). I always try to play boltero (goalie) when I play soccer because I'm not good at dribbling or shooting with my feet. It's become a joke with the kids that I work with that I'm only good when I can use my hands. That's not necessarily true because I have one unfair advantage when I play basketball with them. Most chapines are about a foot shorter than me, so it's really easy for me to win when we play basketball.

Other news from this week:

I'm super excited for the upcoming school anniversary. Here in Guatemala, that's a big deal. There will be fewer classes than normal as the kids celebrate with events and a parade through the aldea. Plus, the kids will have a special trip going to an amusement park, which will be an all-day trip.
