I went to the Eastern Region to volunteer at an orphanage. The drive was about an hour and a half to get to the rural village of Trotor, but I am unable to calculate the exact distance, since the village does not come up on Google maps!
My trip to Kumasi was 251 kilometers away. My trip to the Northern Region in a week and a half will be 651 kilometers away.
Tro-tros, Ubers and one of my school's buses.
This week I went to a pharmacy and a doctor's office in East Legon, Accra. I thought I had contracted the malaria disease, so I had to get a blood test done. I ended up having the flu, so the wonderful doctor I saw prescribed me medicine that has been working well for me.
In a little over a week, I will be travelling to the Northern Region to go on a safari!
