I have traveled to many different places around the world. Out of all of the places I have been to, Vietnam is one of the most beautiful countries that I have visited. When you walk down the streets of Hanoi or explore Lang Son, you will see impressive and unusual plants, unique and colorful buildings, and many, many smiling faces! Also, you may see a lot of trash. One of the biggest problems in the world is plastic pollution. When a community has problems with plastic pollution, this means that there are an overwhelming number of plastic bags, bottles and food containers in the streets, rivers, oceans, parks and, of course, garbage dumps.
The people of Vietnam use and throw away plastic at some of the highest rates in the world. Some of this plastic ends up being recycled. A lot of the plastic ends up in the environment, though which is dangerous for animals and can lead to many problems for people, too. However, Vietnam is not the only country that uses too much plastic. The United States has a big problem with this issue, too.
