I speak Dutch and English fluently, I can understand and speak French at an intermediate level, and I can have very basic conversations in German. In Dutch, "hello" is very similar to English: Hallo!
I have a cat! She is grey and white, and is very friendly to everyone. I am not allowed to have her in my dorm, so I only get to see her when I go home on the weekends.
I have mostly traveled around Europe, including France, the Netherlands, Greece, Germany and Italy. It is common for young Belgians to travel around because it is easy to travel within Europe. Most of my family vacations have been traveling to other European countries.
I don't work because I am a full-time student! I study Biology at the University of Hasselt, and am in my second year. I am still not sure what I would like to do with my degree, and whether or not I would like to go into medicine. The good thing is that students in their second year like me still have some time before we need to decide what specialization to do!
Come to Belgium! It is really a wonderful country with kind people, so don't overlook it for France!
