There are 207 miles between Berlin and Prague. One of the biggest surprises for me personally, is the fact that I'm actually not tired of traveling long distances between cities. Leading up to this experience, I was mentally preparing myself to be fully present and to jump on any and every opportunity to see and experience the world.
When I arrived in Dresden, I had a lot of friends in the CIEE program mentioning Prague as a location they wanted to visit that same weekend. To be completely honest, I hadn't heard much about Prague before this trip, so I did some research to understand what the hype was about. Then I figured the only way to find out was to visit there myself! It turned out to be an experience I am extremely grateful I went out of my way to have.
My journey started in San Francisco when I traveled to Flensburg, Northern Germany. From there, I went down to Berlin to officially begin my study abroad program. The weekend trip from Berlin to Dresden itself was about 118 miles. From there, I went down to Prague then back up to Berlin. And finally, my most recent homestay weekend experience brought me to Wannsee, relatively close to Berlin.
Tallying up the total distance of my travel, I've covered 6,623 miles which roughly translates to about 10,658 kilometres!
