It's finally starting to feel like spring in Seoul! The days are sunny with a nice breeze, but the nights are still very chilly. The temperature ranges from 30 degrees Fahrenheit to 60 degrees Fahrenheit - all in one day!
This week, I volunteered at a dog shelter through a student volunteer group from Yonsei. We cleaned their living areas, and then got to play with the dogs!
It's cherry blossom season in Seoul! Cherry blossoms are beautiful pink and white flowers that came to Korea from Japan. During cherry blossom season, locals go to the big parks in Seoul to take pictures and have picnics under the trees. The flowers usually bloom in early April, but they're only in full bloom for one week!
The air pollution in Seoul has been very low this past week. It's refreshing to go outside without a mask and breathe in the cool spring air.
