For example: when there is nice weather, where do people go to enjoy it? Do they walk around the city? Do they go and relax next to the river? Do they sit in open-air cafés and eat ice cream? Or, where do people like to study? In the library? On campus at one of the cafés? Outdoors in a park?
To learn these things, I spend a lot of time observing people. For instance, on the most recent sunny day here, I walked around the city and tried to notice what people were doing. It was the weekend. I was curious to see how many people would be outside and what they would be doing. Walking around I saw a lot!
There is still so much for me to learn about Saarbrücken and the people who live here. I am always excited to keep exploring and discovering new people, places and spaces, so I do not see myself becoming bored any time soon!
