It is a lot more quiet, the taxis are green instead of the classic red, and there are more residential buildings instead of finance buildings that have bright lights on them.
On February 21st, I wanted to go on a bike ride, so my friend and I attempted to bike from Yuen Long to Butterfly Beach. I found the bike ride on Hong Kong's Tourism Board. However, there were some things that made it difficult, such as finding a bike rental shop. The bike route was not apparent, so there were times we got lost. Also, taking a bike on the MTR is very stressful. If you do, you might get a lot of stares, and you have to take the front wheel off of the bike. The beach was nice because it was a hot day, and the water felt so refreshing. I would not do that route again because of how stressful it was navigating it, but I would try to do a different route.
